Penannular Cloak Kilt Pin Viking Scottish Celtic Brooch
This is a penannular pin made of 1/4 inch square steel with a beautiful twisted ornamentation. Please note the excellent detail in the twists. Each one of the terminals end in a naturil style scroll. A lot of time and craftsmanship went into building these! This is a very fine piece of wearable ART!!
Each pin will accent your kilt, cloak or belted plaid with style and flair. These types of pins have been in use from the Viking age through to the Fur Trade era and today.
These pins are used for holding a cloak together around the neck or for fastening a Great Kilt or Piper's Plaid over the shoulder.
Each pin is hand made at our shop, The White Hart Forge, and has been given a low heat and bee's wax finish.
These pins are perfect for use with historical reenactment, SCA events, Black Powder Rendezvous or just to accessorize your kilt at the next Highland Games, Burn's Night or New Years Ball.
