Viking Dragon Ship Flint and Steel Fire Striker
This is a hand made fire steel. The shape of the steel is a fantastic dragon ship style based on the design of the old Viking Ships. It measures about 3" x 4".
I will even throw in a supply of jute, char cloth and a piece of flint from Western Idaho.
I hand forge these steels from old files and temper them myself at my blacksmith shop. Each one will throw thousands of sparks. I also make my own char cloth from cotton and linen scraps. These will catch a spark and ignite tinder faster than anything I've ever tried.
This is the perfect tinder kit for travel, historical re-enactors or to keep with your emergency supplies. Amaze your friends as you start the next ceremonial fire with one of these.
In the case of an emergency you'll never be without the ability to make a fire again. All of my kits come complete with instructions showing how to hold the flint and strike the steel!
