Viking Age Drinking Horn Stand with Ram's Head Frey
A one of a kind Drinking Horn Stand dedicated to the god Frey and a drinking horn. This is the only one of it's kind anywhere! There is only one!
The stand has "Frey" carved in runes of the elder futhark along the spine with a hand forged ram's head at the top. The ram is a symbol of strength that is dedicated to Frey. The ram's horns help cradle the horn. The legs and rim are also decorated with hand cut Nordic designs. The rim terminals are split by hand and scrolled.
The long horn in the photos is mine and is not part of this sale. However, for this sale I will include an unfinished drinking horn similar to the dark one in the last photo.
